The bureau has already been engaged in the revitalization of the historical center in Tula. Now we have proposed to the city the concept of a multifunctional complex, which will include a hotel (5*), medical and sports centers, as well as some apartments. In addition, it was recommended to include a restaurant, a bar, a business center and retail space in the hotel premises.
Objective:
To design the volume and interior of a multifunctional complex which will become the tallest building in the city, but at the same time will harmoniously fit into its structure.
Solution:
To create a complex of light structures – a cascade of five towers the volume of which will dissolve in the surrounding landscape.
The space-planning solution is based on the idea of combining two forms – a cascade and a parallelepiped. The mass of the building consists of five towers of different heights tightly pressed against each other.
Rectangular volumes are displaced relative to the axis of the building, which made it possible to design small semi-closed courtyards at the entrance groups. At the level of the first two floors of one of the apartments containing towers there is a through passage which visually lightens the monolithic structure of the building and makes it more permeable to pedestrians.
The visual lightness of the architectural elements rhymes with the light interiors.
Based on the research of the proposed functional saturation of the building, the main connections between all zones were set. Public functions are concentrated in the underground and the first three above-ground floors.
The hotel, the medical and sports centers, as well as the business center and the restaurant will be interconnected by vertical and horizontal connections. The functional areas are located in such a way that the residents of the hotel have access to the medical and sports centers. The apartments will be separated from other functional areas.
