The hotel on the Imeretinskaya Naberezhnaya had been built by the 2014 Olympic Games and has a unique location between the sea and the mountains, but does not interact enough with the environment. In addition, the hotel management faced the problem of inefficient use of the premises in the building. We were faced with the task of transforming the territory of the hotel, harmoniously fitting it into the natural context, as well as offering a new vision of interior spaces.
To create a scenario for updating the hotel, which would emphasize its 5-star status and a good location between the sea and the mountains.
To propose a new zoning scheme, as well as several options for stylistic solutions for interiors and landscaping of the street area.
To update the hotel, a new zoning scheme was invented, as well as several options for stylistic solutions for interiors and outdoor areas.
According to the concept, it is possible to expand the lobby area in the interior of the hotel by organizing a lounge area, transferring some of the commercial functions to other rooms, and opening up the space visually.
It is planned to increase the number of water surfaces on the territory of the complex, to create the two-tier landscaping and isolation from the busy public embankment. Full-fledged entrance zones will be equipped on the embankment and the square. Architecture integrated into the landscape, children's infrastructure and new functionality will allow hotel visitors to spend a long time outside in comfort.
